In response to the war in Ukraine, the Data4UA project is designed to support and enhance cultural heritage (CH) data management, emphasizing on CH education and training systems in European HEIs. In particular, war and armed conflicts pose serious threats to cultural heritage worldwide, while digital technologies have a significant role to play in safeguarding cultural heritage (UNESCO, n.d. Cutting Edge | Protecting and preserving cultural diversity in the digital era). Hence, Data4UA targets European HE staff and students aiming to expand their skills by focusing on citizen digital CH data generation and training on digital management. To do that, Data4UA includes a series of interactive learning activities that will be based on its prototype model for augmenting CH data ecosystems with citizen generated data.
